Gdansk, 26-30.10.2022

NEO ARTE Synthesizer of Arts is an international festival presenting the most interesting trends in contemporary music and art.

NeoArte – Synthesizer of Arts exists to inspire, support creativity, positively influence people and improve their quality of life through participation in a cultural event.
It works as a platform connecting artists from various cultural backgrounds and realms of art. Our festival is an intriguing event enhancing personal experience of music and art, stimulating new areas of human mind and enriching our perspective on the surrounding world. NeoQuartet, Polish string quartet from Gdańsk, is the initiator and originator of the festival and also the prizewinner of prestigious Pomeranian Artistic Award 2019.
NeoArte Festival’s idea focuses on the synthesis of arts following a trend observed among artists around the world.
In contemporary landscape, the edges between different arts are getting more and more figurative.

Composers write pieces merging video-art and theater, visual artists construct sound installations, theater and dance companies are involved in performative art. It is harder to distinguish/set the limits between arts, yet is it easier to come up with their connections and common grounds.

NeoArte Association is the organizer of the festival.

The audience of the 11th Edition of our Festival will have an opportunity to experience 5 days of music with 9 concerts, 2 art installations and one art performance. Composition students will have a chance to attend composing workshops held by festival’s Composer in Residence Chihchun Chi-Sun Lee, lecture/presentation of Chinese traditional instruments held by Chih-Sheng Chen and also to participate in reading sessions run by NeoQuartet. Children and youth will be invited to take part in activities that introduce fascinating world of contemporary art

Each of the concerts is planned as a multidisciplinary performance, during most of them the audience will be part of the artistic process. „Trójmiejscy artyści z NeoQuartetu nie „parskają na współczesność”. Przeciwnie – od lat prezentują publiczności wszelkie repertuarowe nowinki. Aby zwiększyć siłę rażenia, zainicjowali Festiwal Neo Arte, podczas którego, wspólnie z zapraszanymi gośćmi, prezentują wytwory sztuki najnowszej.”
