Contemporary cultural cooperations is the project inspired by 100th Anniversary establishment of Polish diplomatic relationships with Latvia, Great Britain, and Finland. These series of concerts – main idea of the project – is performed by Polish string quartet specializing in performance of new music along with the artists from aforementioned countries.
For these cooperations NeoQuartet invited: Helsinki Chamber Choir, British composer and performer Alwynne Pritchard and Latvian visual artist Daša Ludski.
Every concert is treated as separate project – the result of mutual inspiration between NeoQuartet and our foreign artists
Project’s idea refers directly to the establishment of diplomatic relationships between Poland and various countries after Poland’s independence in 1918. During project’s concerts, there will be an opportunity to present simultaneously Polish and given country’s artistic input.
Due to multifarious artistic spectrum of contemporary cultural cooperations, NeoQuartet will be able to present Polish contemporary art in its extended scope: classical fusion of acoustic string quartet with Finnish chamber choir, cooperation between electric string quartet and Latvian visual artist and 45-minute-long theatrical/musical performance with British artist.
