“Works for String Quartet &…” is the first monographic album dedicated to Michał Dobrzyński – one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Polish music – released by the renowned European label Neos Music.
The album presents a wide spectrum of the composer’s mature musical language: from dramatic intensity and philosophical reflection to impressionistic soundscapes, irony, and operatic theatricality.
Dobrzyński’s music is rooted in a dialogue between music, literature, philosophy, and visual arts, addressing themes of memory, freedom, and the condition of the contemporary individual.
This release marks a significant contribution of Polish contemporary music to the international scene.

InGarden – String Quartet No. 4 (2020)
A contemplative work referencing the philosophy of Roman Ingarden and the legacy of Krzysztof Penderecki.
Crumbs of memmory (2022)
A symbolic, non-figurative musical reflection inspired by Auschwitz-Triptychon.
Hi§tory: Albertine’s Aria ( 2024)
