NEOQUARTET PLAYS DOBRZYŃSKI

SA series of multimedia concerts promoting the new album featuring Michał Dobrzyński’s string quartets

Gdansk – Sejny – Bydgoszcz – Lusławice – Warsaw

The project is the result of a collaboration between the Gdańsk-based ensemble NeoQuartet and composer Michał Dobrzyński. The album presents the complete set of string quartets written by the Bydgoszcz-born composer. Some of the pieces are inspired by the works of German artist Gero Helmuth. The album was released by one of Germany’s leading record labels, NEOS Music.
The premiere took place on 22 April 2025 during the Neos Festival in Paris.

An integral part of the project are the visualisations created by Gdańsk-based visual artist Filip Ignatowicz. They are inspired by the paintings of renowned German artist Gero Helmuth.
